Job description:
Responsible for managing marketing, advertising and promotional activities. Takes steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of the company through various goals and objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and build a strong reputaion globally
- Manage advertising, digital and PR agencies (nationally and internationally)
- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels - content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns etc.
- Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
- Actively participate in fund raising activities
- Be in charge of marketing budget and allocate/invest funds wisely
- Plan and execute performance driven digital media campaigns
- Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials
- Work very closely with design and content team for quality design output and ensure brand messages are consistent
- Engage consumers on social media
- Drive overall CRM and direct marketing - SMS, email, offline channels etc.
- Develop and execute new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position business as innovator and leader
- Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
Requirements:
- Graduate/Post graduate degree in marketing or a related field from a reputed institute with- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
- Well-versed with social media platforms like facebook, twitter, linkedIn, reddit, youtube, github, forums, quora and other international social channels
- Experinence in B2B domain in international markets is preferable
- Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
- Solid knowledge of website analytics and other tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, CMS etc.)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns and monitoring SEO activities
- An analytical mindset, comfortable working with numbers & and a number driven approach,making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
- Good taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
