(https://believe.sg/ ) is a global, Singapore-based FMCG group which manufactures personal care, skincare, beauty products & hygiene care and supplies to retail market globally. We are currently marketing and selling own brand products in multiple countries through conventional retail & online channel as well. Initially Launched as Alfaz Lifestyle Solutions in 2019, was re-named to Believe Cosmetics in August'20 Investors : Recently raised Series C funding of $55 million in April'22 from Venturi Partners and IIFL AMC, Other investors include Accel partners, Jungle venture & Alteria capital Total Funding : 80 Million $ Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Cost Savings projects & new source identification - Identifying ideal vendor & packaging sources for NPD. - Direct buying for China suppliers, must have experience in sourcing packaging materials from China, Taiwan etc. countries. - Sharing consolidated requirement with identified vendor and requesting quotes from them. - Following up for prices from alternate vendor along with other terms and condition. (Detailed working is insisted) - New vendors prices are incorporated and scrutinized as per company's practice - Sharing and seeking comments on cost comparison from reporting manager and acting according to the comments - Re-negotiating with vendor in-case quote received is not in line with desired target savings. - On receipt of signoff from reporting manager, sharing comparison with site team for perusal. - Aligning with site on costing and other details like ratio of business, MOQ, payment terms. - Arranging for samples required for machine trial, agreements, vendor documents and other country requirements. - Follow up for commercial order / Indent with site, following up with vendor for delivery, tracking of shipment until delivered at site. - To ensure with site on agreed ratio of business with alternate vendor so as to achieve targeted savings 2. Servicing & Material Availability. - Regular follow up with vendors for timely supplies of Packaging materials Ordered. - Ensure timely production and dispatches of materials by the vendors. - Attending quality issues and providing investigation report and action plan (CAPA) to site in coordination with vendor. 3. Coordination with Cross functional teams - Follow up with vendor for timely dispatches. - In case of quality issues in location: Communicate between Site and vendor on the quality complaint and arranging for the samples from the Site for vendors reference and Investigation purpose followed by satisfactory CAPA for closure of complaints. - Coordination with plant & vendor for replacement of materials. - Co-ordinate with QA/PDD for Proof / Shade card approvals.
