Beingtheparent.com - Specialist - Brand/Vendor Partnerships (1-2 yrs)
We are building a platform for millennial moms to surround them with support at every step of their parenting journey, right from planning a baby to 12 years of child. Their nuclear family status and dual role of professional life & managing home make them hard-pressed for time. On top of it, their parenting journey is broken and time consuming - they discover on social, research on google ( only to get overwhelmed ! ) and buy online / offline.
We want to become their trusted 24-7 buddy and make guidance, connections, products & services available at a click of a button. Having said that, we have to walk many miles along with the moms to understand their small little needs, happy moments, stressful times etc. before we reach the stage where BeingTheParent becomes their de-facto first port of call for anything and everything on parenting.
With 72k babies born every day and increasing number of working mothers in urban nuclear India, our vision is to create a world of healthy pregnancies, thriving children and confident parents.
Founded by ex-3M, Gillette, Cargill folks, we have made some progress so far :-
- > 2 Million hits on the content site since going live in early 2021
- App v1.0 has just gone live
- Raised 2 rounds of investment
Job Responsibilities :
- Detailed mapping of all parenting service needs right from planning a baby to 3 years of child.
- Identify online service providers and curate through detailed due-diligence.
- Negotiate terms of trade as per guidelines and get them on the platform.
- Own up onboarding, train them on seller systems and establish strong relationship for priority servicing & pricing
- Build strong communication channels at all levels of service provider organisation, set proper expectations and work towards growth of business
- Act as a POC for service providers to analyse and solve their issues/pain points to improve partner experience
- Review performance with service providers to take corrective actions and help them increase their business through timely inputs and sharing of best practices
Requirements :
- 1+ years of partner sourcing and on-boarding experience with any online service platform
- Proven negotiation skills
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in excel, highly numerate and analytical
- Excellent written and oral communication skill
