About the role

The Country Sales Development Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the country (Sales & Distribution, S&CM, Financial viability and sustainability of Country Distributor's operations, Pricing, Creation and utilization of A&P budgets and drive Profitability of the operations etc.). He/she assist the - Commercial Director - International Business and E Commerce- in delivering the organization's objective and takes pro-active initiatives to cease every opportunity to develop business in accordance with the companies- policies and strategies.

He/she heads and coaches the local Team reporting to him/her. It is his/her obligation to form an efficient and effective team that is perfectly cooperating with all internal and external partners. The Country Sales Development Manager is to discuss and set clear Goals for his country Distributor and targets for team members in alignment with the Commercial Director - International Business and E Commerce and to track the fulfillment.

Job Responsibilities (non-conclusive):

1) Select and appoint Country Distributors and sustain DB operations in assigned country.

2) Meeting volume and value objectives of the assigned country within budget, time and policy parameters through efficient control of the distributor network and staff.

3) Planning, implementing and monitoring all sales and S&CM activities within the assigned country as an entrepreneurial manager, particularly providing an annual drive and development plan for the whole country in consonance with Commercial Director - International Business and E Commerce.

4) Sales Forecasting SKU wise for his/her country based on sound analysis and support the Supply Chain team for correct production/supply planning.

5) To help the commercial team by conducting regular audits of A&P utilization and country operations from time to time.

6) Responsible for executing visibility norms across the country as per NIVEA standards. Is also accountable for tracking and maintaining all company merchandising elements in GT and MT of his/her assigned country.

7) Is responsible for product launch planning and its execution in his/her territory.

8) Regular and timely reporting along pre-defined formats to relevant internal stake-holders.

9) Lead from the front to drive and motivate his team thru regular work-withs and specialized classroom training.

10) New Business development: Constantly seeking new opportunities to increase and extend the scope of NIVEA's business operations in close cooperation with the Commercial Director - International Business and E Commerce.

11) Extensive traveling within the Country in order to get market and business insights.

12) Documentation of A&P generations and utilization for audit purposes.

Required Qualification:

- Education: Graduate/PG in any principle.

- Degree / Diploma in Business Management or related subject preferred

- 5-8 years experience in Sales/ Business Development, experience of handling an international market is desired.

- Languages: excellent command of spoken and written English, Command on Tamil language will be an advantage for this role.

Organisation:

The Country Sales Development Manager reports to the Commercial Director - International Business and E Commerce, who in turn reports to the Managing Director.

- All staff of NIVEA India, especially Supply Chain & Finance/Commercial

External:

- Distributors, Distributor's Team and Trade clients

Travel: The role is based out of Mumbai but would require frequent travel to SriLanka market.
