Beiersdorf - Consumer Insights Manager (5-10 yrs)

Overview:

The Manager - Consumer Insights is responsible for leading generation of consumer and shopper insights and managing research activities to provide accurate and timely market and competitor information for strategic decision making for NIVEA India.

They would be responsible for value adding to the insighting processes, incident rooms on our key brand groups.

Detailed Responsibilities (non-conclusive):

- Extensive knowledge of the consumer, brand, the category, competitors and the market from quantitative and qualitative market research

- Work very closely with the brand team to ensure the brand group work schedules and targets are met

- Work closely with global/regional teams to understand best practices and methods and implement them locally. Provide perspective on local markets and collaborate with global teams on cross-country projects

- Direct the insights team and agency partners to ensure quality delivery on Insights and Strategy

- Maintain a database of market and competitor data as a source of accurate and up-to-date information of market studies.

- Plan, design and execute market research studies to measure current and forecast future market activity and consumer trends, analyse the results and write reports and recommendations to support the management team to evaluate alternatives against the organization's business objectives.

- Conduct primary consumer research, identify new market opportunities, analyse competitor activities and evaluate the success of the organization's marketing, advertising and sales campaigns

- Conduct incident rooms (workshops) for insight generation in collaboration with the brand team

- Develop and maintain marketing dashboard on a monthly basis and work closely with the brand team to ensure corrective action

- Collect, compile, verify and analyse information from internal and external sources in order to develop recommendations about the implications of alternative sales, marketing and business development strategies.

- Budget allocation and adherence across various studies/research conducted
