Key responsibilities


- Assist in critical parts of the product and user flow across important parts of the user funnel in the Mobile App (Android/iOS) ecosystem and Insurance vertical

- Assist SPM in launch of new products & features geared for conversions & flow enhancements in Android Mobile App, iOS Mobile App and Insurance vertical


- Understand and grasp project requirements, write specs and effectively communicate the same to dev teams and other stakeholder teams.


- Understand the workings of BB frameworks & collate pieces between various stakeholder teams to execute on deliverables


- Leverage analytics data and conversion metrics to identify & resolve pain points in user flow


- Analyse feature performance & device solvable methods /fixes by working with dev team.


- Prioritise features, requests, asks from various teams, keeping in mind customer impact, business impact & dev costs


- Close involvement in documentation, validation, verification of critical performance data, feedback and findings related to the customer buying funnel


- Responsible for driving key conversion, performance and hygiene metrics along with a Senior Product Manager


Who are you?

- You have overall 4 years full-time work experience in product/tech B2C companies or digital banking/fintech.

- You (preferably) have worked for 2+ years in an engineering background as you will work closely with engineering team. Additionally, have 2+ years of experience in consumer internet product management.


- You have prior experience in working closely and cross-functionally with a number of diverse teams including Technology, Dev, Operations, Customer Support, Analytics, Content, Design and other critical decisioning teams.


- Experience in taking quick decisions based on data and analytical inputs.


- Keen eye on best practices from the domain in solving user behaviour-oriented problems.


- You are able to quickly grasp the scope and restrictions of existing frameworks and evaluate costs prudently so as to optimise and economise the outcome of projects


- You are able to write great specs with minimal edits and take feedback from multiple perspectives, but apply logic & fair hypothesis, data to make independent decisions.


- Sharp eye for detail and highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to lead teams.

- Ability to understand development cost, user impact & prioritize actions accordingly.


- Obsessed with consumer-friendly, simple, clutter-free and clean design. Obsessed with frictionless flows/experiences - always.


- Ability to assimilate disparate and diverse data in order to identify and reference key data points on which to base feature development and implementation.


- Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces - ability to create examples through wire frames and mock ups.


- Ability to think through user flow, customer challenges and needs and suggest the best solutions to solve these.


- Ability, flexibility and creativity to reference best practices for implementation and problem solving.

Note: This candidate is expected to spend some time initially (ranging between 3-6 months) in our Head Office at Chennai. This initial period will be immersive in nature, during which the candidate will go through structured orientation programs, live working sessions, participate in release cycles and interact closely with cross-functional teams across multiple areas of production. This will be useful in a role that demands in-depth understanding of our working culture and environment.
