Specific Responsibilities :
- Monitoring and vetting content. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes/laws. A basic understanding of Regulatory frame work in India and knowledge of practical application of guides, codes and laws for content Sifting the - Non-OK- content and suggesting way forward either by scripting changes/visual changes or edits. Ensuring changes are implemented & mitigating risk for broadcaster.
- Maintaining all relevant data for local area. Deep understanding of the programming slant of shows. Essential to be interested in watching shows on multiple platforms so as to have an understanding of the creative aspects and the target audience tastes.
Personal characteristics / Behaviours :
Team player, Bias for action, Deliver under pressure, Eye for detail and keen interest in watching content of any type and genre. Communication and Persuasive skills should be strong. Should have the ability to deal with senior programmers & creative team.
Special skills :
- Knowledge of Programming codes & applicable laws
- Strong & decisive - should be able to defend and execute decisions with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and awareness of social, religious & political environment
