Bajaj Electricals - Product Manager - Lighting Division

Job purpose & Scope :

Develop the product portfolio as per the business need & support business with technical inputs. Work towards betterment of Throughput with the help of Product Innovation & Cost Innovation ideas.

Major Areas of Responsibilities :

Throughput Improvement :

- Work on throughput improvement of existing product lineup by suggesting cost innovation

- Give technical /Design inputs for new product development for reduction in product cost

Product Planning :

- Help Product manager in devising product plan to ensure growth on the top line and bottom line

- Develop a renovation plan / road map for product portfolio.

- Track & analyze performance of product & its field complaints from technical point of view & give suggestions for improvement of product performance

- Continuously benchmark portfolio with competition & ensure lead in differentiated products

- Should independently able to do product testing

- Industry, Competitive Analysis - Identify opportunities

Cross Team Management :

- Provide technical support to the sales team with solutions for speeding up execution

- Operational Support to Sales, Service, Logistics & SCM Teams

- Management of defective generation & settlement of Lighting products with vendor in co-ordination with SCM team
