Head HR and Admin (Projects Business)
Job purpose & Scope :
Head HR & Administration functions for the Organization.
Major Areas of Responsibilities :
1. Develop and execute HR strategy:
- Be instrumental in creating HR processes which will enable business to execute its plan - current & future.
- Ensure availability of talent for all critical positions within the organization through talent management initiatives.
- Be vigilant and anticipate business requirements related to talent threats and opportunities.
- Anticipate and identify new skill sets and talent requirements for the business.
- Act to balance business and employee expectations
- Oversee Plant HR
2. Strategic advisor to top management
- Function as a strategic advisor to leadership team on matters related to people
- Be vigilant and sense people expectations, provide right input to leadership team for taking corrective or proactive actions
- Work with MD & CEO and other leaders to drive continuous improvement to make BAJEL Projects a performance driven organization
- Suggest changes in organization structure and design as per the business requirements
- Ideate and design initiatives to manage manpower cost
- Share best HR practices from industry with management
3. Custodian of organization culture
- Design initiatives to strengthen employer brand
- Continuously assess & re-assess processes to re-align to desired culture
- Participate in external forums, networking events to represent the organization
4. Organization processes & compliance
- Create and manage HR department's annual budget
- Design initiatives to strengthen people processes and practices to create long term impact on employee experience such as Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, etc.
- Ensure compliance & statutory requirements of the organization
- Ensure proper cross-functional collaboration & communication channels within the organization
5. Administration
- Develop & implement Administration, Security policies and procedures and ensure that the same is always adhered to across the organization
- Be responsible for administration & security of all office & site premises
- Overseeing facilities and employee support services (housekeeping, security, hospitality, cafeteria, transportation, employee mobility, etc.)
- Liaise with govt. bodies and other authorities
- Ensuring employee welfare, safety, wellness and health
- Prepare various monthly reports as required by the Management Responsible for overall employee experience and internal customer satisfaction for admin. services
6. People Management
- Create a high performing HR & Admin Team
- Continuously upskill team members through training, regular reviews, coaching and providing feedback-
