Bajaj Consultants - Associate - Debt Syndication & Project Finance Advisory - CA

Education/Experience :

- 1st attempt CA (Preferably CA rank holder)

- Transaction experience in debt syndication & project finance advisory necessary (preferably roads and highways sector)

- 2-3 years of work experience

Responsibilities -

Debt Syndication & Project Finance Advisory :

- Project financing focused towards funding of large-scale PPP projects in the infrastructure sector

- Formulation of Business Plan to ascertain the source of funds by consolidation/ aggregation.

- Strategize and structure the funding plan to optimize cost of capital.

- Compilation of critical information related to the project from primary and secondary sources.

- Preparation of information memorandum for approaching prospective lenders.

- Negotiating commercial terms & conditions of the transaction with lenders.

- Assisting the client on structure and modalities of legal documentation.

Corporate Finance Advisory:

- Assisting the client on estimating working capital requirements through formulation of projections.

- Arranging funds through structured debt instruments including ECB and Rupee facilities.

- Advising on Mergers & Acquisitions as well as Private Equity Placements.

- Facilitating and arranging divestment transactions in Infrastructure Projects.

- Devising Refinancing/ Takeout strategies to lower cost of funds.

- Advising on IPO's/QIP's

The Person

- Excellent basic financial analysis and modelling skills

- A self-starter, keen planner, strategist, hands on implementer who is energetic

- Good communication skills, articulate, professional, and adept at communicating across cultures, organization functions and agendas

- The incumbent should be intellectually sound with a keen analytical and logical mind with the ability to execute transactions independently

- Must have a demonstrated ability to work in a team

- A global mindset

- Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
