Job Description:

Bajaj Capital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Management Officer (PMO)/Program manager to join our Transformation team in Gurugram. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of projects across the organization, particularly within our technology, product and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills and have a strong understanding of JIRA, SCRUM methodologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead project planning and execution by coordinating with cross-functional teams, including technology, product, business and marketing stakeholders.

2. The Program Manager will coordinate projects across the organisation for the Chief of Digital Transformation and Head of Strategy.

3. They shall set goals, ensure that the program runs smoothly, and follows set goals while maintaining a high level of detail for each project they oversee throughout their workday.

4. Formulating, organizing and monitoring inter-connected projects

5. Implement and manage SCRUM methodologies and Agile processes throughout project lifecycles.

6. Utilize JIRA to create, update, and maintain project schedules, track progress, manage resources, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

7. Act as the primary point of contact between teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to address project challenges and ensure alignment with business goals.

8. Proactively identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as necessary to senior management.

9. Maintain project documentation, including status reports, project plans, meeting notes, and other relevant materials and provide visibility of same to higher management

10. Assist in the development and tracking of project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

11. Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, tools, and techniques to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

On the softer aspect, the Program Manager shall:

- Be the authority for advocating and safeguarding processes and documentation, ensuring a professionally led, highly organized team.

- Provide coaching and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in project management, incorporating relevant insights into the organization's project management framework.

- Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels.

- Have the ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project/program management, preferably in the financial services industry.

- Strong understanding of JIRA, Agile methodologies, and SCRUM processes, with relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM considered a plus.

- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

- Familiarity with the financial services industry, its products, services, and regulatory requirements, is considered an advantage.
