Position: Regional Head (AGM)

Purpose of the Job :
- To re-position life insurance as a wealth management instrument with a focus on building agency distribution network specifically in the financial investment sector.
- In view of the above, plan and achieve business targets in the area productivity, new premium, persistency, agent activation etc. Take responsibility for scanning the market for emerging opportunities. To devise and implement sales strategy To promote productivity of the field force. To promote a customer-centric culture among both staff and field force.
Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities) :
- To be a key planner, strategist & implementer with demonstrated abilities in devising sales and marketing activities and accelerating the business growth.
- Building Distribution Network in the financial investment sector: Build a robust and profitable distribution network of Advisors, FLS, Line Managers
- Productivity & Activation - To Manage productivity and activation of the Advisors within the team.. To promote productivity of the field force. Establish good working habits for the force, undertake productivity improvement drives, organize specialized training programs.
- Business Dependencies - To ensure equitable distribution of new business between all branches so that there were no dependencies on any branch.
- Recruitment of Regional heads and Branch heads to ensure growth and productivity.
- To evaluate performance & monitor activities for deeper market penetration and improved market share.
- To take initiative for team's development through productivity improvement drives and /or training programs to enable them to pitch life insurance as wealth management instrument.
- Leading, mentoring & monitoring the performance of the team members to ensure efficiency and meeting of individual & Co. targets.
- Take responsibility for scanning the market for emerging opportunities, the presence of competition etc and plans for the progress.

Educational Level :
Must have: Minimum Graduate, MBA (Marketing) preferred.
Work Experience :
Must have: Minimum 10 yrs of experience with minimum 3 yrs in a team handling role in Wealth Management profile, preferably with AMCs.
