Baidyanath Group - Trade Marketing Lead (2-4 yrs)
About the Company : Riaan Wellness (Vansaar) is a new Ayurveda products entity of the Kolkata-based Baidyanath Group, an established classic Ayurveda product brand built over 100 years and recognized pan-India. Vansaar taps into the large untapped need for proprietary Ayurvedic formulations in personal care and health foods. Setup as a high-growth start-up entity just before the pandemic, Riaan Wellness already offers a range of consumer products like health juices, geriatric care products, hair care products and women products with a goal to deliver on the efficacy promise of its health-focused products. Two of these products have already enjoyed exponential growth in sales in the last year despite the tough conditions.
About the Role :
- Consult with sales, supply chain and marketing teams internally as well as externally (Agencies, Key Accounts & Consumers) as necessary to gain information and insights, as well as achieve results that are aligned with corporate and functional objectives.
- Conduct market visits in coordination with Sales Managers & Marketing
- Develop yearly trade promotional plan on brand level & region level in line with brand guidelines, sales feedback as well as consumers' insights
- Ensure adherence to trade Marketing budgets & ensure cost policies are applied having in mind optimization between quality & price.
- Incorporate feedback from sales teams and brand managers & customise trade schemes, programmes, promotional campaigns that cater to the zonal / regional requirements.
- Carry out Pre & post promotions, schemes evaluation - estimated ROI, Sales Managers & market feedback as well as market data readings where applicable.
- Sales growth in FMCG / Ayurveda category vis- vis targets
- ROI on trade marketing interventions (schemes, promotions, etc.)
New Launches
- Plan in coordination with Marketing and Sales the support for all new launches.
- Conduct periodically trade visit to assess new launches implantation in key markets.
- Assess launch success & prepare closing report for major launches.
