Product Manager
Role :
The purpose of a Product Manager will be to manage following responsibilities for-
- Understand the business and product challenges in creating a product from a scratch
- Should have been a part of creation / growth / scale-up of a app growth
- Develop and deploy new strategies for building a high velocity, high performance product development organization in line with our emerging customer needs
- Ability to consolidate product vision and create an effective roadmap
- Has strong analytical chops, is metric driven and is hands on with reporting tools to derive actionable insights from user behavior
- Demonstrates decisiveness and is able to make highly impactful decisions quickly with the best information available at the time
- Analyze the data and identify the gaps and suggest product improvement
- Work with the engineering team and ensure product development and delivery.
- Understanding of user acquisition, optimization and engagement
- Ability to manage user acquisition at large scale and create engagement hooks
- This also includes building and overseeing community as a product, owning the product's strategic direction and ensuring the team has the tools and systems it needs to build successful products.
Objective :
- Designing, developing and managing activities from product definition & planning to production and release.
- Developing the product strategy and roadmap.
- Working cross-functionally with design and technology teams to ensure timely and quality release of product/ enhancements.
- Main Responsibilities of an Associate Product Manager
Your responsibilities will include :
- Lead as well as mentor product managers and designers while also acting as a peer to them to drive an independent lane of product work
- Synthesize feedback, data, and company goals to develop a product roadmap to disrupt the content industry
- Partner with design, engineering, sales and operations to scope and build features that solve user problems
- Analyzing product performance and redesigning as required
- Designing, developing and managing activities from product definition & planning to production and release
- Developing the product strategy and roadmap
- Managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business impact, performance, and post-launch support
- Working cross-functionally with design and technology teams to ensure timely and quality release of product/ enhancements
- Own user conversion strategy to drive business growth and engagement
- Strategize and own a long term product roadmap with supporting success metrics on Gamification.
Key Requirements :
- You possess a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- You have a strong background in software engineering as well as prior experience in product management
- You have prior experience in managing a product throughout its lifecycle
- You possess strong problem solving and prioritization skills
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- You can work effectively with cross functional teams
Preferred Domain Skills :
- Understanding of different recommendation engine to drive user acquisition and funneling
- Driving active engagement through relevant content engagement and CTR
- Should have worked backend Dev and AI team to create engaging products
- Should have worked on creating dashboard reports on users and engagement
- Understanding for third party tools and products to enhance the system
Desired Skill Set (Technical) :
- Strong understanding of UX/ UI
- Software development experience (app and web)
- Strong understanding of product growth
- Understanding of different recommendation engine to drive user acquisition and funneling
Desired Skill set(Non-Technical) :
- Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
- Proven team collaboration and management skills
