Position Description :

Baazi Games is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead some of the key projects that are crucial to the company's success. You will be directly working with the engineering team, product management team, solution architects, DevOPS and senior leaders across the organization to deliver these projects. The outcome of work will directly be seen by the users of Baazi Games and will contribute to the company's growth.

What you will do :

- Lead complex technical projects that may span across multiple teams. Be the glue that holds everything together and ensures harmony across teams.

- Participate in discussions on new product features. Drive conversations with senior leaders (including product management and engineering management) in the organization to prioritize feature work keeping business outcomes in mind.

- Create technical feature spec in collaboration with different stakeholders.

- Identify metrics that will ensure real world success of new feature releases.

- Make strong decisions to create a release plan and put user experience first while making decisions.

- Work with engineering teams to create a release plan and manage the day to day execution of work. Take actions wherever needed to ensure the project stays on track. Make tradeoffs wherever necessary.

- Identify risks and put mitigations in place. Actively work towards mitigating the risks.

- Monitor features post release and ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner.

What we look for :

- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Technical Product Manager or Product Manager.

- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.

- Deep understanding of what it takes to release a feature with high quality and understand that the real success of any feature is that it performs well in the real world.

- Excellent decision making skills to make right trade-offs & determining what goes into a release and what does not.

- Ability to understand technical designs and conduct technical meetings / design discussions with internal and external stakeholders.

- Manage a project from inception to release to real world success.

- Engineering Degree, preferably computer science or related.

- Business degree / certificate is a plus but not necessary.

- Prior experience in engineering role is desirable.

Interview Process :

- Round one - evidence from past experience that demonstrate fitment, expertise in the TPM role and technical depth, some behavioral skills.

- Round two - behavioral skills not covered in round one, expertise in TPM role.

- Round three - optional third round to go over aspects that may not have been covered in first 2 rounds.

- The rounds may be not be in a particular order depending on the interviewer availability.
