As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Baazi, you will identify, engage, and recruit talented people to join our Engineering team. Your focus will be on quality in everything you do. What you will do: - Team up with hiring managers to build strategies and pipeline: source, assess, and close high-caliber candidates in our engineering team - Continuously build a network of potential candidates, conduct in-depth interviews - Collaborate with recruiting team to improve existing recruiting and retention processes and help initiate scalable changes to our current recruiting strategy - Partner with hiring managers on creating a strategic plan for sourcing and recruiting candidates with a diverse background - Support ad hoc projects as needed and be willing to do whatever it takes at a moment's notice to capitalize on an opportunity; the market moves quickly and so should you What we look for: - 5+ years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience, including some startup experience. - Proven track record of success in building strong partnerships with the Engineering team and stakeholders - Persistent curiosity and desire to learn as much as possible about our business - A highly collaborative recruiter who understands the value of internal relationships - Excellent at driving the process and keeping it moving forward despite any obstacles - A data-driven and problem-solving mindset to improve the way we hire - A passion for building teams and delivering the best candidate experience - A fun and collaborative teammate who pitches in wherever necessary - Ability to think creatively and critically, and thrive in a fast-paced and often ambiguous work environment Requirements: - You find candidates; you don't wait for them to come to you. - You are an experienced sourcer who can effectively engage top talent without leading with the name of an established brand. - You know when you are speaking with an exceptional candidate. - You extend offers knowing they will be accepted. - Utilizing meticulous attention to detail, you maintain your candidate funnels by prioritizing an excellent candidate experience. Your loops are always closed. - You maintain the entire candidate funnel with meticulous attention to detail, always ensuring loops are closed. - You are a master storyteller and engage candidates with your energy and words. - You are open to giving and receiving feedback and constantly want to improve. - You are organized and prioritize your work by impact. - You have strong opinions on what works in recruiting and like to constantly refine your approach. - Commitment to quality.
