JD - Category Manager

Location: Corporate Office, Ahmedabad

Reporting: The role reports directly to the Head Marketing (Domestic)

Key Responsibility Areas:

- Needs to have Proficient knowledge on Brand Building (Place, Promotion & Price)

- Ideal candidate should have Working Knowledge on above Brand development aspect but Good to Expert knowledge on Brand Building aspect

- Should have made Brand Marketing Plan BMP, helping the Brand / Category to meet its goals

- Should have translated a Vision plan into Mission plan / Business target plans

- Should have created / deployed Integrated Marketing communication

- Should be adept in Media planning & buying - both Traditional TV, Print & New age Media Digital / E-commerce

- Should have Monitored Sales / Targets / Networks / Launches / Relaunches & take action

- Should be adept in Tracking Nielsen / IMRB / Consumer research data / software etc. Be able to do Data analysis & condense them into Strategy / Tactics

- Expert level knowledge in Data condensing, Data analysis, Insight generation from Data points

- Should have be part of launching brand & taking the brand to 2X or 3X growth by doing "Market Development Model"

- By generating Trial / Awareness among consumers, Driving distribution & measuring ROI of the activities brand is involved in

Education & Background:

- FMCG experience is must.

- Needs to have minimum 4 years of solid Brand Building experience (Place, Promotion & Price)

- Looking at this candidate for Personal care role. Hence good to have a person from Skin care / Personal care roles

- If they have worked in a Media agency on the Traditional media earlier, will be a bonus
