Axis Group International - Strategy Consultant
Responsibilities :
1. Project Management, Project Planning & Project Execution/Delivery (~75%)
- Develop project methodologies and work plans to meet clients business needs and project requirements (working closely with manager)
- Drive assigned tasks/workstreams and project execution and delivery across relevant projects
- Deliver on day-to-day operational aspects, i.e. research, analysis, synthesis, report preparation, editing, etc.
- Apply project methodologies and enforce project quality standards
- Support the management and problem solving of execution risks
- Coordinate and integrate individual deliverables with other project team members
- Review deliverables prepared by project teams for client readiness
- Prepare for client engagement and reviews, and participate in client readouts
- Track and manage own capacity utilization and ensure good project administration
- Support project budget process and project administration as needed
2. Business & Team Management (~15%)
- Lead and manage several teams, including consultants, analysts and researchers
- Participate in talent acquisition process, and talent development and training
- Ensure implementation of effective source and knowledge management practices, and that learning objectives are met
- Manage appropriate revenue recognition across project portfolio (i.e. timely and accurate invoicing, and monitoring of receivables for project)
3. Marketing, Business Development and Sales Activities (~10%)
- Lead and opportunity development
- Proposal drafting and support
- Client relationship management
Requirements :
- A full time MBA degree from reputed Indian or international Business School with underlying bachelor degree in business, economics or engineering is a must
- Demonstrated track record of very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in strategy and operations sphere especially: international growth strategies, operational improvement, supply chain and procurement transformation and sourcing strategies
- Experience in and ability to lead/manage with confidence in quantitative areas such as comprehensive procurement analytics, advanced spend analysis and complex data management would be an advantage
- Proven experience in team leadership and management
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in management consulting
- Overall professional experience of 7-10 years
- Ability to work in teams with colleagues from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- International experience (1-3 years, outside home country) preferred; and interest to further develop an international career
- Excellent communication skills writing skills and presentation skills
- Extremely strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- English proficiency
- Interest in China/Asia
