Axis Bank - Manager/Senior Manager - Forex Analytics

Job Description (In brief): The person would be a part of the Analytics team primarily focusing on RLIP vertical. The Analytics team is responsible for the end to end strategy, design/development and performance synthesis of all retail banking products for the bank. In Retail banking the focus area for the candidate would be Remittance products.

The candidate will be responsible for the following in his/her job role :

- Develop statistical models to gain customer and business insights, to solve business problems and to add value to the business.

- Tracking and reporting business vital indicators, insights, problem areas etc. to business on a monthly basis.

- Liaise with stakeholders, Business managers, ground level resources to gather analytical requirements and deliver analytical solution in the Remittances domain

- Conceptualize the analytical approach with respect to the stated business objective and prepare a comprehensive plan of action

- Support strategic report generation and fulfillment of requests logged in this area

- Strong data handling, interpretive and problem solving skills with the ability to process large volume of transaction level data and efficiently derive actionable results.

- Having a - results oriented- attitude with - go get it done skill

- Good project management skills while working with both internal and external partners

- Should have a high degree of motivation with a continuous thirst for learning

- Should have good communication, presentation & interpersonal skills

Key Result Areas :

- Driving the remittance Business analytics agenda, and augmenting the business team strategies

- Development of statistical models to augment customer acquisition and engagement exercises

- Influencing acquisition and portfolio dynamics through analytical deep-dives

- Regular synthesis, reporting, analysis and insight driven approach for the Transaction Banking Business

Academic Qualification:

- Bachelor degree in a quantitative subject such as Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics or Finance
