Job Description
The person would be a part of the Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) primarily focusing on Financial Crime & Operational Risk Management at the bank. The team is responsible for end to end strategy for detection, prevention and mitigation of application fraud, transaction fraud, and money laundering activities across the banking products and channels.
The candidate is required to:
- Lead the Onboarding Fraud Analytics team
- Conceptualize analytical approach with respect to the stated objective and execute
- Develop strategies, rules and predictive models to manage fraud and improve customer experience
- Build machine learning models/solutions to integrate and exploit multi-disciplinary data
- Discover insights from a myriad of data sources that can help predict suspicious activities
- Liaise with stakeholders and business leaders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solution
Key Result Areas :
- Ensure the fraud metrics levels are well within benchmark by taking suitable actions and interventions
- Moving away from existing analytical tools like SAS to R/Python
- Create innovative fraud mitigation strategies that can strengthen detection and prevention
- Work towards using alternate data sources and embed the same in our existing framework

Competencies Required :
- Working knowledge of SAS, R, Python and other analytical tools

- Strong communication skills - Ability to work with multiple product teams/stakeholders, understand key business objectives, and communicate complex concepts effectively to different audiences
