About the Role To efficiently manage the entire tax function (direct tax as well as indirect tax) for the Bank by ensuring timely compliance, minimizing risks through proper and timely guidance and availing of various benefits and concessions available under the Tax laws through tax planning Key Responsibilities - Computation of GST Liability for ongoing monthly GST compliances; - Filing of GST Returns and payment of GST; - Preparation and filing of GST annual and audit reports - Reconciliation of ITC vis-a-vis GST Portal and books of accounts - Advisory on tax queries raised by the branches/ Departments; - Assistance in preparation of appropriate replies to notices, letters, etc. as and when received from the Department; - Ensuring timely responses for the tax notices, letters, etc. - Drafting responses and appropriate annexures for GST Assessments Qualifications Optimal qualification for success on the job is: - CA Role Proficiencies: For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following: Knowledge: - All tax matters including tax compliance, advisory &amp; assessment - Various working required for tax audit Skills: - Good communication (both verbal &amp; written) and inter-personal skill - Strong Excel and database manipulation skills, financial and statistical analysis skills - Tax accounting &amp; reconciliation Abilities : - Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals - Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
