Role : Data Scientist - Model Engineering

Job Description :

The candidate will be part of the Data Science team and will primarily be responsible for developing predictive models and implementing latest machine learning algorithms.

The candidate is required to :

- Develop predictive models using latest machine learning / statistical methods

- Keep track of latest developments in the machine learning world

- Introduce newer methodology in model development & implementation

- Communicate these methods and results to other members of the data science team and other relevant stakeholders

Key Result Areas :

- Deliver robust statistical / machine learning models that use latest methods & algorithm while generating tangible business value

- Standardize the usage of latest data processing methods for faster development and implementation of models in the larger data science team

- Ensure flawless delivery of projects on time

Competencies Required :

- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

- Ability to learn and understand latest machine learning / statistical algorithms

- Working knowledge of Hadoop, SQL, Oracle

- High level of motivation

- Good communication, presentation & communication skills

Academic Qualifications Required :

- Post graduation in Statistics or Economics or Quantitative Economics or Computer Science OR M.B.A. (Finance / Quantitative Methods)

Nature of Relevant Work Experience Required :

- Predictive model development

- Logistic/Linear Regression, Clustering, D-tree, Feature Selection, PCA

- Artificial Neural Network (Deep Learning), SVM, Random Forest

- Python, Tensorflow, Scikit
