AXA Business Services - AVP - Record To Report/Accounting & Reporting - CA (10-15 yrs)
Copernic is a key project in the Finance & Accounting domain and is engaged in services with 8 European countries. The landscape is expanding to other non-European countries like US and Asia.
Operational Responsibilities
Responsible for service delivery of the Record to Report process in the COPERNIC model
Shall be having operational responsibility of all countries
Troubleshoot bottlenecks / issues in the overall process and drive for resolution
Undertake process improvements and enhance productivity
Enable Best Practice sharing across geographies leading to enhanced productivity
Enhance resilience in the process through qualitative measures
Will be a single point of contact for the countries in the COPERNIC model
Shall be responsible for transition of the end to end process from entities
Shall be responsible for providing vertical leadership and managing migration
Responsible for traversal responsibilities at an F&A CoE level
Managerial Responsibilities
Manage a team of Sr. Managers and Managers having operational responsibilities (people issues, hiring, retention, performance management etc.)
Lead and motivate the team to facilitate achievement of key performance indicators and efficiency.
Service Level Management
Deliver in accordance with agreed key performance metrics of turnaround time, quality, productivity etc.
There is an opportunity to drive standardization in the Copernic Solution usage, mitigate gaps in controls, and resolve issues raised by entities
Education and Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant only. - Mandatory-
Close to 10-15 years- experience in Record to close or similar finance functions is essential.
Understanding of the current regulatory requirements in India and European countries will be an added advantage.
Previous experience in a Shared Service Center environment is preferable.
Ability to interact with all layers in the finance organization at group and entity level.
Ability to speak up and to propose improvements in processes,

The role reports to VP- Finance Operations/works very closely with SVP Finance operations
- Span of Control- 150 + dynamic staff (Includes Sr. Managers, Manager, Consultants etc.)
- Handling UK/Europe/Asia AXA Insurance entities
- More into strategy, Decision making, Client Management, Migration and Transition Management. Very Strong Client Facing role.
