Job Description - Prior experience as an AWS Architect with a strong understanding of AWS well-architected framework, and relevant experience designing and implementing solutions in accordance to the framework

The Lead is expected to bring an understanding of the external environment to drive innovation and forward-thinking in solutions

Client Details :

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company with offices in 18 countries. Its products are sold in approximately 125 countries.

Description :

- Responsible for leading the enterprise data program team, setting up best-practice architecture recommendations and ensuring effective knowledge sharing for the team


- Partnership with the US-based Solution Architect, for leading of application architecture designs, peer code reviews, and champion continuous improvements 


- The Lead is expected to bring an understanding of the external environment to drive innovation and forward-thinking in EDP solutions


- Lead in setting up best-practice architecture recommendations and knowledge sharing for the enterprise data program team


- Deep understanding of AWS services, UI development needs, ability to evaluate requirements of the businesses and make architectural recommendations for implementation and deployments


- Partnering with US based Solution Architect, in the leading of application architecture designs, peer-review code, and champion continuous improvements for the Enterprise Data Program (both data backbone and marketplace)


- Coach and develop team members through performance management, development planning, promotions and career plans
 
Profile :

- Minimum 5 years of management of a team or teams, should be able to lead a team of around 8 to 12 people


- Minimum 12 years of total experience


- Strong understanding of AWS well-architected framework with relevant experience designing and implementing solutions in accordance to the framework.


- Strong application development background with relevant experience in developing and deploying enterprise-scale application in AWS


- Experience in end to end data flow in AWS (ingestion, data engineering)


- Experience with deploying automation infrastructure by utilizing AWS Cloud Formation techniques.


- Experience in DevOps and UI development


- Experience with Agile Development


- Experience with Apache Airflow and Ansible


- Experience migrating workloads from on-premises to AWS

 

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
