AVP/VP - US/UK Corporate Tax - Financial Services

Our client is an international financial institution with a market-leading position, particularly in investment and wealth management areas. They are actively looking for experienced tax individuals with a strong exposure in tax reporting matter in relation to asset and wealth management, traditional and alternative funds.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Manage team responsible for preparing and maintaining tax and regulatory records, returns and reports for entities

- Executing business plans and contribute to the development of the functional strategy

- Managing the financial and human resources for the unit and ensure operating efficiency

- Setting team priorities and providing guidance as necessary

- Presenting tax strategy recommendations to clients as a result of any major regulatory changes

- Assist client in addressing complex tax issues posed by client's investors and lead any process changes that affect clients and their funds

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- CA with experience in international tax compliance and regulatory matters.

- Experience of managing tax matters of various geographies including US and UK

- Extensive tax advisory experience covering international tax laws and other related issues

- At least 9+ years of relevant experience for AVP level role and 13+ for VP level

- Experience in tax reporting and analysis essential in a fund services related role
