AVP/VP - Trade Product for a multinational bank

Our client is a multinational bank based in India and is looking for a AVP/VP level resource to introduce and enhance Transaction Banking Trade products to facilitate business promotion and incremental profits

Key Tasks:

1) To analyse and understand customer product requirements and recommend appropriate trade solutions within regulatory parameters. To travel, as necessary, and do joint pitch along with RMs to present solutions

2) To lead and drive P&L for Trade business across client segments.

3) To conduct market gap analysis / bench marking and developing / enhancing trade products including Structured Trade products and customized solutions for clients.

4) Review process flow and aligned to product / client requirements

5) Focus on Trade digitization products with the market trend moving towards paperless approach across Imports, Exports and Domestic with better turn-around time

6) To work with the startups and Fintech companies to identify opportunities and build solutions

7) To have local market knowledge and ability to meet clients and explore more opportunities along with RMs and identify structured Trade opportunities across the client portfolio to build and develop digital solutions - IDPMS/EDPMS

8) To target import/export flows and target associated Fx potential profit

9) To identify clients who regularly payout dividend to offshore parent companies and capture those Fx flows

10) Commercialize digitization initiative

11) To identify opportunities for structured trade products and to develop structured trade solutions

12) Closely work with all the stakeholders on the structured trade products & obtain necessary approvals

13) Manage all audit queries pertaining to trade products

14) Engage with regional stakeholders in drafting product papers / processes / technology requirements and arranging for New Product Committee approvals.

15) Engage with compliance / credit / operations / legal / finance in addressing trade product related requirements

16) Engage with regulatory bodies on trade product related matters and make representations for necessary clarifications / approvals along with Compliance.

17) Engage with internal / external legal on drafting / modifying standard documents for trade products.

18) Conduct product related training sessions for Customers, RMs, credit analysts and other stakeholders.

19) Responsible for MIS with respect to utilisation, product margins, etc

20) Share useful market insights / regulatory changes / Fintech developments
