AVP/VP - STRATEGY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Company Profile: A multinational oil, gas and energy company.

Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities:

1. STRATEGY ROADMAP: 

- Assist Chairman/Managing Director in setting long term milestones for South Asia - MS.

- Coordinate with strategy department on growth and profitability analysis exercise.

- Coordinate with business CEOs for preparation of the long-term Plan and budget.

2. GROWTH INITIATIVES : 

- Based on approved Roadmap, Identify growth opportunities through JV, M&A, partnerships, geographic expansion for new and existing business lines.

- Negotiate with respective stakeholders to agree on projects based on market size, growth opportunity and profitability.

- Preparation of business plans, financial models and detailed reports for selected new projects.

- Lead the project development, partner negotiations and implementation till handover to the business.

3. RELATIONSHIP BUILDING:
 
- Build strong relationships and trust with key external and internal stakeholders including ministry officials, board members and CXOs of companies the Group interacts with and other key personnel.

- Be the face of the Group while leading the negotiations with potential partner companies and entities for projects including but not limited to mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.

- Act as the first point of contact for all high-level external stakeholders for new business opportunities.

4. COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE : 

- Develop database of all key statistics, market trends and competitor activities in the energy sector in South Asia.

- Proactively re-align strategy roadmap based on key changes in the market environment.

Required Profile:

Education: Post Graduation in Management from a premier institute.

Experience: 10 to 15+yrs in Retail, Oil & Gas, Automobile, Energy sector and related industry.

Language: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
