Client is a leading Life Insurance player with an extensive distribution network, which is part of a large financial services conglomerate.

Job Description :

Role : Head - Rural and Mass Business

Designation : VP / AVP

Reporting : EVP - Emerging Channels

Location : HO, Mumbai

Deliverable :

The client is looking at expanding their distribution network into Tier 3/4 and rural markets for their life insurance product offerings. They are looking at someone to come in and head the overall Mass Marketing business. Candidate will be expected to leverage on the extensive project work that has already gone into the business.

Responsibilities are as follows :

- Develop and Design go-to-market strategy and distribution model for entering into the target market

- Give the business a structure and close the distribution process

- Interact and em-panel the intermediaries which will facilitate the launch into these markets

- Ensure that technology is an integral part of the distribution process

- Based on the business model, design and execute the hiring plan for the team

- Leverage on the existing Bancassurance and other channels to further improve the distribution potential

Candidate Profile :

- Experience in Mass and rural distribution, could be from any industry, however, BFSI preferred

- 10-20 years of experience

- Adept at managing intermediaries
