1. JOB PURPOSE

(Briefly describe the general purpose of the position or its significance from the organisation's point of view and how it contributes to the overall mission/objective of the organization).

To lead and manage the team with respect to verification of loan documents, regulatory compliances, monitoring post disbursement compliances and design of related processes and systems to ensure accurate and timely loan disbursals for asset finance loans (construction equipments, commercial vehicles, etc)

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

(List the responsibilities/duties associated with the job and the major activities associated with each responsibility. For each responsibility/duty listed, give the factors on which an individual's performance is judged).

(a) Accuracy and Completeness of Loan Documentation

- Ensure that loan / KYC documentation are accurate, complete and properly executed as per internal and regulatory guidelines

- Ensure that all the sanction terms and conditions are complied with prior to loan disbursement

- Ensure timely reporting to Underwriting / Risk in the event of any deviations or non-compliance

- Ensure regular process enhancements are implemented for reducing processing timelines

(b) Accuracy and Completeness of Data Entry in Loan Management System

- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in loan system as per internal process, credit and operational guidelines as well as in adherence with regulations

- Ensure appropriate dual controls are exercised for loan data entry and authorization

- Ensure regular process / system enhancements are implemented for reducing processing timelines

(c) Customer Service / SLA Adherence

- Ensure regular interactions with business, underwriting, IT and other stakeholders for high levels of customer service delivery

- Ensure adherence with SLAs for high levels of customer service delivery

(d) Process Reviews / Quality / Audits

- Constantly review all processes in collaboration with Process Cell / Business Process Excellence

- Ensure appropriate Quality Control processes are implemented for assessing performance quality as per benchmarks

- Ensure regular benchmarking of internal processes, quality and TATs with market-practices

- Ensure appropriate and timely controls are implemented in collaboration with Risk, IT, Process Cell

- Ensure - satisfactory- audit ratings for the unit in every Internal or External / Regulatory Audit

(e) Team Building

- To provide direction and support to team members in order to achieve efficiency and productivity through regular feedback, coaching and mentoring

(f) Vendor Management

- Ensure appropriate controls are implemented for effective and efficient monitoring of processes which are outsourced

- Ensure Quality Control team reviews performance of third party processes and corrective actions are implemented to adhere with internal guidelines

(g) Credit Administration

- Prepare facility documents in line with sanction terms for despatch to client

- Collection and verification and maintenance of original facility documents. Verification for completeness including signature verifications (very important and probably difficult role)

- To co-ordinate with RM for the shortfall in collection of any documents

- Correct updation of limits in system post sanction and post receipt of facility documents and after verification of all sanction terms

- If any management / credit approvals have been obtained for temporary waiver in approval conditions, Credit Admin to follow up for rectification within approved timeframes (including facility documentation shortfalls).

- PDD monitoring and follow-up

3. Functional and Behavioral Skills

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact with all staff levels

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Strong knowledge of SME / retail loan systems and processes (internal and regulatory)

4. Relevant and total years of Experience

- 3-5 years of experience in Lending Operations or Credit Administration in a reputed Bank or NBFC including understanding of Trade Finance documentation like Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, etc.

5. Key Collaboration Network

- Zero exceptions on loan documentation by business / branches through constant training

Mission Critical Collaborators-

- Business for ensuring accurate documentation and data

- Credit / Underwriting for timely and clear decisions / conditions

- IT for high availability of loan processing systems

- L&D (Training) for timely and regular training to operations processing staff and branch training intervention

- Quality Assurance team for implementing, monitoring and tracking performance on various quality parameters

6. Decision Rights

Owns-

- 100% adherence to SLAs / internal controls and regulatory guidelines

Influences-

- Business for ensuring accurate documentation and data

- Underwriting for timely and clear decisions/conditions

- IT for high availability of loan processing systems

- L&D (Training) for timely and regular training to operations processing staff and branch training intervention

- Quality Assurance team for implementing, monitoring and tracking performance on various quality parameters
