AVP/VP - Regulatory Compliance - Retail Lending

- Assist management in identifying and assessing the compliance risks associated with the business activities, proposed activities and client relationships

- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of policies, processes and controls within and across business groups so that the day-to-day business activities are in compliance with applicable laws and that any breaches of such laws, rules, regulations and internal policies are detected

- Provide a proactive and expert compliance advisory service

- Identify, investigate and resolve indications of violations to the Company's internal policies, systems and controls or to applicable laws, rules or regulations

- Promptly alert senior management / GCG to significant compliance issue. Periodically report to senior management / GCG on the effectiveness of the Company's compliance program

- Keep abreast of regulatory developments or other matters affecting the business activities, systems and controls and Communicate changes to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements and oversee implementation thereof

- Assist in establishing programs to foster awareness among management and staff of relevant internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, including an explanation of the spirit and rationale of the requirements as well as the letter, the promotion of best practice throughout the SBU, and keeping staff up-to-date with changes in the requirements.

- Handling regulatory reports & filings, regulatory audits and inspections, internal audit with respect to areas of compliance and governance
