AVP/VP - Regulatory Compliance - Liabilities/Branch Banking Compliance - Bank (5-10 yrs)
Looking for AVP/VP Liabilities or Branch Banking Compliance, MNC Bank, Mumbai
- Assist in development and implementation of the compliance framework for Retail Banking business which aids proactively in identification and management of compliance risk, especially covering Liability accounts, retail business banking, Outsourcing and sourcing/ servicing through various channels
- Remain abreast with the applicable regulations which is evolving and be sensitive to the regulatory environment
- Assist in review/ approval of new retail banking products / services / processes (including marketing collateral) and support active risk management through advice and challenge.
- Actively participate in working group aimed to facilitate awareness and the sharing of best practices with Global Regulatory Compliance community.
- Assist in achieving compliance with Group standards, manuals and guidelines, meet external/ regulatory audit and compliance standards.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Chartered Accountancy / MBA / Company Secretarial qualification desirable though not essential. Graduate with relevant experience may also apply for the role.
- Exposure to regulatory landscape and understanding of RBI regulations is key to the role. Knowledge of FEMA regulations and relevant SEBI, NSDL and IRDA regulations relating to wealth management would be an added advantage.
- Experience in handling Compliance / Risk / Audit / Internal Control related areas would be preferable.
- Understanding of retail banking products and wealth offerings is desirable
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Analytical and Presentation skills
