AVP/VP - Public Relations & Corporate Communication (15-20 yrs)
AVP/ VP - PR & Corporate Communication
We are an FDI funded organization based out of Gurugram, looking for AVP/VP - PR & Corporate Communication. The job role is a corporate level role and is based out of Gurugram.
The duties will include:
a) Researching, writing, and editing integrated internal and external communication pieces such as news releases, brochures, ads, presentation materials, speeches, web content, general correspondence feature articles and stories, backgrounders, fact sheets, newsletters, business plans, annual reports, board briefings
b) Managing issues and crisis
c) Building strategic communication, media and government relations plans
d) Developing a relationship and network with other like organizations in the real estate sector
e) Assisting with the coordination of meetings and special events such as the annual general meetings, conferences, and workshops
1. Strategic Planning :
a) Participate in the development and implementation of organization-wide strategic communications planning.
b) Develop comprehensive communications strategies that support the overall strategic direction of the Organization.
c) Assesses communications programs, report findings and recommend improvements.
d) Provide expertise and share knowledge on appropriate response to issues; assist with issues notes.
e) Provide expertise and share knowledge with internal clients on internal communications projects and media events.
2. Internal Communications (Proactive and Reactive)
a) Creates communications strategies and formulates appropriate messaging for sensitive and confidential materials to be communicated to internal and external audiences
b) Initiates, promotes and encourages effective internal and external communications strategies and practices at all levels of the organization
c) Leads the creation, editorial planning, content development, layout and production of internal newsletters (and the shift to electronic newsletters utility); internal portal (intranet); human resource communications
d) Oversees the research and development of news releases, articles, editorials, publications and other written communications products
e) Writes and coordinates speeches, briefing notes, and media articles for internal clients
3. Corporate Reporting
a) Manages and reports on media measurement statistics (including ad equivalency value) in conjunction with external media monitoring service
4. Media Relations
a) Manages proactive and reactive media relations to obtain and shape news coverage of the Organization
b) Acts as spokesperson and coordinates & prepares internal subject matter experts to act as Organization's spokespeople in response to media requests
c) Oversee the planning, coordination and execution of news conferences and other media events
5. Crisis Communications
a) Responsible for the Crisis Communication Plan; updates, and management of crisis communications preparedness & activity for the Organization
b) Participates on the Emergency Response Task Team
