AVP/VP - IT Audit - Life Insurance Business (8-15 yrs)

- This role is accountable for developing and leading the internal audit services for IT

- Has overall responsibility for the delivery and management of a portfolio of audit assignments to ensure that all IT and associated business and regulatory risks are anticipated, identified, recognized and appropriately managed in alignment with the departmental audit plan and initiatives;

- Supports the Chief Internal Auditor and is responsible for all audit activities related to several lines of business under his or her direct supervision.

Responsibilities -

- Responsible for managing and executing technology audits using department guidelines, knowledge of the business and understanding of controls

- Serve as high-level technical expert to conduct technology audits, including Cybersecurity, IT Risk Management, System Development and Project Management, Cloud, Infrastructure Security, Resiliency, IT General Controls, etc.

- Responsible for the identification of risks or weaknesses within the functions being reviewed

- Review and determine the business's compliance with established policies, procedures, laws and regulations, and existing regulatory requirements

- Provide management with an objective review of risks and controls from an independent view

- Analyze the impact of audit findings and assess the effectiveness of action plans provided by auditees to resolve control issues or risks

- Responsible for preparing audit findings and reports for business managers

- Responsible for leading discussions with Senior Management, regarding audit planning, reviews, and reporting

- Ensure the audit deliverables are meeting the project timeframe and of high quality
