AVP/ VP - Investment Banking - Equity Capital Markets (ECM)

We are actively hiring for an exclusive mandate with one of our client a leading Investment Banking company based out in Mumbai.

Designation - ECM Execution - AVP/VP

Equity capital markets (ECM) is a field in which financial institutions such as investment banks help companies raise capital to expand their business when entering into an IPO. These financial institutions determine the price and sell on new IPO's and work with their clients to sell the company's equity to investors.

Job Description :

- Responsible for execution of the capital market transactions and providing capital markets advisory to clients.

- Primary responsibilities include coverage of companies along with sector bankers, corporate finance advisory including capital structuring, SEBI and stock exchange co-ordination, execution and deal management of the offering.

- Secondary, responsibilities include helping in institutional and retail marketing of the transactions.

- Understand prospective institutional investors for each client

- Analyze risks and understand financial status of client in order to guide company's equity capital raising solutions

- Comply with and oversee listing, structuring, documentation, compliance, accounting, and tax implications of issuing shares to public; perform financial due diligence

- Create presentations in order to conduct roadshows with the intention of attracting investors leading up to the client's IPO

- Interact with internal legal team to understand legal and regulatory environment of client's IPO

Requirements : Graduates from top tier 1 MBA program
