Role : DCM - Credit Origination & Structuring (AVP/VP)
Reporting To : Head - FI Origination & Structuring
Business Unit : Financial Markets Group
Location : BKC Mumbai
Work description
- Originate transactions independently and in collaboration with relationship team
- Transaction structuring keeping in mind investor appetite with fair understanding of credit risk (understanding of legal, compliance, taxation and accounting will be an added advantage)
- Work closely with credit-risk, sales teams with the objective of coordinating efficient closure of transactions.
- Understand various aspects of Financial Models, Term- Sheets, Teasers etc. to negotiate the terms to conclude transaction. This will involve close coordination with borrower, RM. investor, risk, legal etc.
- Facilitating approval credit processes starting from in-principle up to final sanctions
- Gathering market intelligence and data on non-flow credit transactions in order to build strong investor behavior profiles which can be leveraged for sourcing deals and reverse inquiries.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Origination mind set and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of framework related to legal & compliance, taxation and accounting
- Strong understanding of structured credit risk, documentation and experience of financial modelling skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of structured credit financing market standards, reference terms, banking and investor regulations etc.
- Skills of credit analysis, including company & industry analysis/financial statements etc.
- Experience of having interacted with investors (MFs, Insurance Cos) will be beneficial
- Candidate should have an eye for detail and drafting skills
- Should be highly motivated, independent and a strong team player
