Roles and Responsibilities
- To support the Data Management & Control team in preparation of monthly, quarterly data quality exception reporting for Group Finance.
- Supervising and helping to resolve exceptions strategically by collaborating closely with various data providers/reference data teams and supports with ad hoc requests raised by Regulatory team, PC, FA, Operations etc.
- Responsible for data quality breaks monitoring and resolution assigned which must be performed under control enhanced environment.
- To ensure periodical process reviews and collaboration across internal teams to ensure any operational risk is mitigated. Demonstrate techno-functional expertise to investigate into huge datasets using data mining tools such as R, Python, Qlik, Tableau etc.
- To invest time on improving efficiency, to identify areas wherein manual efforts are being carried out and work towards automation of the same.
- A strategic opportunity to learn the standard processes in DMC team covering but not limiting to new requirements laid by the local regulators from time to time.
- Exposure to practical applicability of automation tools which are currently being used by the team in day to day processing.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Post-Graduate in Finance/Accounts/Statistics/Economic with relevant experience to financial services and/or prior experience of financial services.
- 5 to 12 years of work experience in a financial institution with proven knowledge understanding of data governance, data lineage etc.
- Experience in conducting transitions and having experience of leading projects on automation would be added advantage.
- Proven knowledge of either of the tools (R, Python, Qlik, Tableau, PLSQL and others) would be an added advantage.
- Data oriented, ability to provide direction for transformation journey using data mining tools and techniques.
