Strategy Manager - Role Description :

Characteristics :

- Maturity and experience to be the right hand to the Practice lead on operational running of the practice

- Able to operate within the fabric of the practice embedded in setting of strategy and plans, familiar with business issues and trends, has strong understanding of the capabilities and work focus of the practice

- Strong understanding of the Practice can navigate internal structures and processes, understands and supports entity vision, value proposition and business objectives

- Credible and able to speak with a strong voice has the ability and judgement to represent the practice in discussions and processes, and to make decisions

- Team builder and collaborator proven ability to drive integration, teamwork and collaboration across dimensions (nodes/global, industry/function, support teams, offerings, etc) to improve operational effectiveness and impact; operates in alignment with broader operational framework

Responsibilities :

Business Strategy and Planning :

- Support development of business strategy and plans for the global practice

- Support interlock and collaboration across internal (industry, function, node) and external dimensions

- Facilitate Go to Market activities and account planning

- Facilitate pipeline management and business forecasting

Business Management :

- Monitor business results, facilitate business reviews and identify and oversee interventions to achieve business results

- Help drive key initiatives and change programs on behalf of the practice

- Manage relationships with and across support functions (Operations, HR, Finance),

- Manage budgets

Practice Community and Collaboration :

- Drive actions to enhance practice community and communications

- Facilitate cross node and cross offering coordination and collaboration

- Schedule and facilitate leadership connects

Resource Planning and Management :

- Facilitate definition of resource strategies and plans, skills requirements, recruiting priorities, cost to serve strategies (location/pyramid)

- Partner/collaborate with HR/TSC to represent the business on standard planning processes, S/D reviews, corrective actions, and other operational processes

- Help define resourcing priorities, address staffing escalations, monitor people mobility processes

Talent Development :

- Manage training priorities and investments, training budgets and approvals, certification programs

Capabilities and Innovation :

- Provide program management for asset development teams and activities, budget management, and resource allocation

- Manage offering framework and facilitate capability maturity activities and progress

- Monitor quality and delivery risk

Role Setup :

- Full Time role (some roles could be shared across smaller practices)

- Permanent position (not a staffing assignment)
