Reports to: Business Head

- Indicative Qualification – BE/BTech/MCA

- Indicative Experience – 15+ years

- Indicative Reporting – VP/Vertical Head

- Well developed and demonstrated knowledge of the business domain

- Excellent understanding of business strategy and key performance indicators of the client's business

- Persuasion and negotiation skills

- Financial and Analytical ability

Job Description

- Responsible for overseeing the development, support, maintenance and implementation of all projects handled by a medium to large business unit/technology group through lower level Managers.

- Responsible for overall success of Business Unit/Technical Unit comprising multiple small business units through strategic planning and alignment of units with broader organisational business strategy

- Responsible for overall P&L and technical growth of units.

- Responsible for developing appropriate processes and road map for the business unit including hiring plans, training requirements, staffing etc.

- Requires extensive knowledge of major segments in the organisation and knowledge of several disciplines and ability to integrate critical information from many diverse areas.

- Course of actions are guided by corporate goals and strategy only

- Resolves critical issues impacting overall organisation direction and results

- The impact can be medium to long term in nature. Organises organisation wide and cross business unit programs. Decisions are strategic and impact overall organisation results and direction

- Requires sound technical knowledge across areas and excellent understanding of business issues. Has the ability to create plans to align technical issues with business strategy. Also has an excellent people Management skill in order to attract, motivate and retain talent.

- Ability to persuade key decision makers and manage strategic communication

- Represent the company on industry forums and professional bodies

- Network with professionals and industry experts for latest on technology, trends, advancements etc.

- Responsible for Revenue, Growth and profit in existing engagements.

- Responsible for customer satisfaction
