AVP - Underwriting - Farm Finance

We do not want people who are into credit underwriting. But we are looking for Policy & Portfolio

- Primary accountability for the definition and adherence to credit policies for Farmer loans & warehouse financing products

- Focus on creating an industry-leading credit policy and digital onboarding/underwriting process to provide quick approval TAT for various Farmer loans & warehouse financing loans with an eye on market and competition.

- Review credit strategies, products, policies and procedures on a regular basis, and recommend amendments

- Ensure clear communication and adherence of credit decisions to the sales network

- Liaise with Compliance and Legal departments to ensure all relevant regulatory and governance requirements are met

- Support in implementation of learning and development programs for Credit Managers to institute culture of credit writing excellence, and for Sales team to ensure stringent sourcing

- Implement departmental policies, systems, and procedure so that all relevant procedural/ regulatory requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality and cost-effective service

- Ideate and help launch next-generation lending products and underwriting methods that will drive the next round of innovation and disruption within the rural lending space
