Description Job Title: AVP - Treasury Finance BP&amp;A Location: Chennai JOB POINTERS:- Fund transfer pricing Treasury finance Front Ending Stakeholder Management with good presentation skills. FPNA/PC/Analytics profiles OR PC Treasury Qualification- CA/MBA from good institutes Reporting to VP Internal Reporting [with indirect reporting to BUK Treasury Business Partnering VP], this role will collaborate with wider Treasury Finance teams to ensure accurate, efficient and timely delivery of Actual/Outlook/Forecast results analysis for Treasury P&amp;L, Balance Sheet and [RWA &amp; Leverage] by Segment and by Legal Entity where relevant What will you be doing? - Effectively communicate / escalate key P&amp;L results messages and emerging risks and opportunities across various FTCs in line with submission deadlines and management meetings - Transform financial information into clear, concise messaging and utilise effective communication methods to explain complex Treasury transactions to non-Treasury experts - Own and be responsible for queries raised on all output/deliverables, particularly from Finance stakeholders - Support ad-hoc/new requests ensuring that we meet high standards to provide a timely response to all queries - Analytically review variances against prior submissions, budgets and prior years, to challenge and communicate results and outlooks across various business areas and FTCs - Evaluate impact of analytical reviews on outlook assumptions included in forecasts for key decision making - Provide insightful analytics to support/understand drivers of business performance or risks / opportunities to forecasts, such as FX impacts, liquidity return tracking, OCI reserve monitoring - [Partner with Investment Function to understand key movements in RWA &amp; Leverage positions and evaluate/challenge the impact on forecasts, ensuring key messages are effectively communicated across other FTCs, particularly Internal Reporting] - Own the overall accountability for the production of monthly results materials presented to Treasurer and team, including planning meetings, format/agenda changes, monitoring of risks and opportunities, and minutes - Monitor month end reconciliation of management results to ledger, providing escalation support for complex ledger breaks - Utilise Treasury expertise and relationships with key business and finance stakeholders to develop commercial lens to commentary explains against requested comparatives and build understanding of Treasury P&amp;L drivers - Be a trusted first point of contact for the Business and provide analytics/recommendations to support management decisions - Work with other FTCs to ensure effective implementation of key MI reporting changes / new transactions - Work with Treasury Planning &amp; Forecasting team to understand projections for the upcoming reporting cycle - Effectively design and implement business change requirements in our MI, working with IR FTC to communicate and provide guidance / training on the changes - Drive improvements in reporting system tool to enhance efficiencies and improve standard processes, coordinating with Technology and Change teams to test and deliver system improvements required. What we are looking for: - Strong financial management and analysis skills with knowledge of performance management techniques (including good knowledge of Powerpoint) - Strong ability to re-prioritise in order to manage urgent queries, particularly from Finance and BUK Business Partner - Financial modelling and analysis expertise (especially Excel) including analysis of large volumes of data - Qualified accountant with experience of BP&amp;A and/or internal reporting - Good stakeholder management with effective written and verbal communication skills - Experience preparing presentations for communicating information or recommendations on appropriate solutions Skills that will help you in the role: - Prior experience in using Hyperion reporting tool preferred - Good understanding of the Treasury function in a Bank and product control and trade level investigation - Robust network / proven ability to develop strong relationships with various stakeholders - Knowledgeable in Finance processes in a Bank, to design and deliver change requirements across various teams - Good knowledge of the Financial Reporting requirements of Treasury and the Group - Other relevant qualifications e.g. ACA, CFA Where will you be working? - Chennai
