Job - Strategic Alliances and Partnerships (Business Development)
Job Description: Strategic Alliances and Partnerships team originates, structures, negotiates and establishes strategic partnerships across all of the businesses of the NBFC (Consumer lending, MSME financing, Auto & equipment leasing and affordable housing finance).
- As Strategic Alliances team member you will be responsible for generating, managing, and executing some of Company's most complex and high impact strategic alliance activities while having a strong technical aptitude to identify best in class alliances for the organization. This includes managing relationships and assisting for deals that are unconventional in nature, need a strong candidate to envision and understand broader implications to the organisation.
- This key role will report to the Business Development Head and have high visibility at senior levels of the company including business heads, CEO. You will need to work with a high degree of independence, ownership and collaboration with internal stakeholders across risk, finance, analytics, legal, compliance and business teams. The candidate should be proactive, action-biased and have an innovative, creative, analytical, technical, strategic thinking ability with a passion for growth.
Responsibilities :
- Take the lead to identify, evaluate and manage partnerships that will involve financial analysis, product, risk, analytics, technology components
- Ability to assess technical feasibility, market size, business opportunity for all the businesses of the NBFC
- Evaluate economic, strategic cost-benefit, valuation analysis and investment thesis of partnerships
- Lead cross-functional teams including product, operations, business, legal, finance, tax, accounting and senor management to execute on the relationships
- Develop best practices to foster, manage and track opportunities
- Support relationship management of large partnerships forged by the team
We are looking for a candidate who has 8-10 years of similar or related experience of identifying, developing and executing (end-to-end) successful deal partnerships. Excellent communication skills combined with strong inter-personal skills and ability to gain respect of internal and external stakeholders. Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships which facilitates deal flow.
