AVP/Senior Manager_Finance

The Opportunity: Responsibilities of AVP-Finance Operations (Lead Data Validation Analyst) include managing the data validation of Global liquidity projects, other liquidity risk requirements in GLRS.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing the Data Validation for global release on liquidity and is responsible to support end to end testing of different changes intend to go live in different liquidity releases. This can include changes driven by PRA / EBA, US Fed, OSFI, HKMA & ECB or any other regulator. Various reports to be validated and tested includes, PRA110, EBA, NSFR, AMM, Cashflow & Funding reports. These all reports need to be migrated to FoTC.

- Supporting liquidity data validation & functional testing for other critical projects to business globally across regions - HBEU, HBAP, AMH/HASE, MENA, HNAH & LATAM sites (Around 60 sites)

- Formulate a detailed test and validation approach to ensure data validation is comprehensive and accurate.

- Well versed on system driving Liquidity reporting like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Finance on the Cloud (FoTC).

- Understand in-depth existing global LR processes and system / data flow specifically Retail, wholesale, Facility, GBM and Reference data requirements, DRU changes

- Comprehending Regional and Global regulatory requirements and raising heads up with documentation wherever required

- Assisting Project Manager in planning for resources / project life cycles with inputs on risk arising out of resource capacity / other dependencies

- Taking full ownership of issues and resolution impacting the Projects thereby ensuring seamless delivery to meet stakeholder expectations

- Ensure project specific dashboards and status charts are being maintained up to date and cascaded to PM / DM so as to enable them with the right information

- Identify and leverage synergies across regions to ensure resources are utilisation is optimal.

- Influence strategy and shape the UAT approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the detailed project plan, approach, commitments and changes.

- Ensure operational effectiveness by adhering to the BTF / Change framework, calculate artefacts and agree expected outputs for stakeholders as per regulatory requirements

- Establish effective project controls and procedures.

- Set high expectations concerning quality and put in place quality assurance processes.

- Report progress, issues, dependencies and highlight risks to Delivery manager periodically

- Drive the adoption of Business Transformation Framework (BTF) standards and work in alignment with BTF methodology at all times.

- Lead the Data Validation change team of Data Validation analysts to meet performance targets aligned to programme / project objectives).

The role will be responsible to drive validation of key liquidity reports across regions ensuring activities are completed within set timelines and with allocated resources. The role requires stakeholder management across Group FCD, FinOps, Site and regional ALCM teams.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications (For the role - not the role holder. Minimum requirements of the role.)

Technical Skill Requirements:

- Good understanding of systems delivery lifecycles and delivery methodologies

- Good understanding of ALM, Capital and Risk reporting and/or any other local regulatory reporting

- In-depth knowledge of Liquidity Reporting (Basel III.EBA LCR, NSFR) and Interest Rate Risk Reporting process

- Strong understanding of financial products (specifically Retail, GB&M and IRR) and how they impact finance operations and more generically the banking business and liquidity risk

- Knowledge of SQL

- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Mandatory skills-liquidity reports(LCR,NSFR,PRA110)/Financial reporting, Analyst, Testing/liquidity risk, SQL, balance sheet(3/5)basic concept, project management.
