AVP - Senior Consultant - Testing - InvestOne - Fund Accounting - BPA Team - Investment Bank

Hiring for one of my Investment Banking clients based out of Bangalore

Position: Sr. Consultant

(IC) Individual Contributor role

Location: Bangalore

Timings/Shifts: EMEA or Late EMEA

Skills :

- Looking for seasoned professionals with experience in Fund Accounting, who have hands-on experience using the InvestOne tool.

- Candidates with experience in multi-fund testing, fund testing, and software testing who come with proper exposure into the fund accounting domain can also apply.

- This is an opportunity for an - experienced and knowledgeable- applicant to join the Fund Accounting BPA team in India.

- The prime responsibility of BPA team is to deal with business support, system upgrades and development, small change and major capital projects. This role involves the development, support and testing of the InvestOne and all its ancillary applications used within the Fund Accounting business unit.

- Agile Scrum Master Certification, ISTQB certification, CCBA, CBAP or other BA certification would be preferred.

Management Responsibilities:

- Lead FA testing team in outstanding execution and delivery of services

- Ensure transition of activities into the group are managed and are successfully implemented

- Ensure reporting is developed & completed accurately and within specified timeframes

- Deliver high-quality service to stakeholders by accurate, timely completion of all assigned tasks and requests for information

- Organise workload and team members in an efficient and effective manner

- Work closely with regional functional managers in various processes/projects to ensure communication and smooth implementation

- Focus on leading and developing people through continuous mentoring / coaching

- Conducts the full performance management process and work closely with management on staffing decisions

Functional Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze system specifications, collaborate with the project team to develop effective test strategies and plans.

- Formulate and Lead application testing strategies and test plans

- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and review results for SunGard Invest One and other Fund Accounting applications, report and troubleshoot defects.

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the implementation lifecycle

- Consistently demonstrates expertise in high profile projects and system upgrades, testing for large and small projects/changes, system changes and upgrades

- Demonstrate advanced subject matter expertise to perform functional reviews of transformational initiatives and on-going BAU change agendas.

- Serve as a Change Advocate; establish trust within the corresponding business teams; gain enthusiasm within the teams.

- Work closely with regional functional managers in various processes/projects to ensure communication and smooth implementation.

- Train, coach and mentor juniors in the group

- Provide regular management reports and Operational MIS to stakeholders and management
