Role and Responsibilities :

Business/Department/Objectives :

- The role of Assistant Vice President - Strategic Business Solutions group is based at Bangalore Center and reports to the VP/Director/Senior Director leading the team. AVP will be part of one of the business teams partners with (NA Cards, NA Retail Bank, EMEA Cards, APAC Cards, APAC Retail Bank, Banamex, Growth Venture etc).

Core Responsibilities :

- Analytic Project Execution : Build effective teams to deliver on business priorities. Decompose business priorities into candidate projects. Consult with partners to initiate project aligned to business needs. Manage the project pipeline to ensure prioritization and resourcing. Influence analytic approaches through learnings and insights

- Talent Management : Manage career progression for the team. Influence organizational policies on Talent management

- Teamwork: Manage initiative across the COE. Establish a structured interaction model with the partners

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

- Communication : Effectively communicate strategic considerations with team, partners and senior management.

- Organizational Development : Dismantle organizational silos. Drive organizational development initiatives

Education :

- Masters in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Operational Research, Business Administration, Economics etc. from Premier Institute or a track record of performance that demonstrates this ability.

Experience :

- 3-8 Yrs Experience in Financial Services/Analytics Industry

- People management experience

Skills :

- Established competency in one or more of the following

- Financial Analysis

- Business Analysis

- Statistical Modeling

- Strong Analytical aptitude and logical reasoning ability

- Strong presentation and communication skills.

- Strong process/project management skill

- Knowledge of analytical tools such as SAS/SQL and complex data sources

- Experience in one or more financial services businesses (cards, retail bank, mortgage etc)
