AVP - Sales Excellence - Insurance (8-15 yrs)

A) Process Design, Documentation & Training:

- Develop and execute Sales Process Design & Documentation Framework ; develop and refine Sales value chains from customer and Channel partner perspective

- Process review calendar with due priority basis statutory & regulatory guidelines, market benchmarking along with timely closure of actionable

- Work in partnership with business stakeholders to simplify / reengineer processes, improve efficiency and customer experience

- Identify improvement areas, non documented processes. Ensure documentation closure with detailed FMEA, Controls, and Metrics etc.

- Reinforce the objective of Process Management through regular interaction with team & stakeholders

B) Process Assurance & Control Framework

- Define Assurance Framework in alignment to requirements from Customers, Regulator and Business; build and drive First Time Right processes

- Assessment calendar ensuring comprehensive scope spanning across all sales proprietary and partnership channels under Retail & Group

- Design robust assessment grid basis Input- Output metrics, Controls, Business rules, Cross- Functional linkages etc.

- Collaborate with Risk & Audit function to build robustness in the process & ensure regular review with the functions

- Ensure solution design [Corrective & Preventive action] and deployment along with business owners in time bound manner

- Reinforce the objective of Process Assurance & Control through regular interaction with team & stakeholders, timely dashboards and status updates C] Project Management [Business Priority Projects, Improvement Projects, Quick Kill Solutions]

- Drive project management through a structured process including need identification, review, implementation, closure & sign offs

- Engage in high impact projects on KEY BUSINESS CHALLENGES [e.g. Sales Productivity Revenue, Profitability etc.]

- Ensure timely closure of projects with desired outcome, de sign off for closure

- Post completion of projects, ensure change management for effective implementation, sustenance & replication

- Measurement of project impact including metric improvement, delivery of agreed goals, CBA & sign off on financials

D] Business Process Reengineering

- Conduct comprehensive process review for end to end value chains, identified as per business priorities or delivery challenges

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop all in one view of the value chain from end customer's perspective

- Formulate holistic plan of action to ensure seamless experience throughout life cycle stages

- Elevate delivery capability of the value chains through inclusive actions on process, people, system, measurement axes

E] People / Performance Management

- Regular coaching & mentoring to the team for enhancing skill level & productivity

- Resource optimization to ensure high quality project delivery

Desired Profile :

- MBA / Post Graduate

- Core experience in BFSI Sales Vertical (Distribution Operations, Distribution COE, Sales Strategy verticals)

- Must have worked on Projects, Process Improvements & Assurance related activities of cross functional nature across different geographies with multiple client business environment

- Experience in driving process re-engineering projects

- Hands on experience of statistical tools, data mining & analysis, VSM, FMEA, RCA etc

- Sound understanding of TQM & Business Excellence

- Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with 5 yrs+ post BB experience

- Project Management Certification like PMP, PRINCE2

- Certified ISO Auditor / Lead Auditor
