1.Regulatory Risk Management:
- Monitor and interpret evolving regulatory requirements affecting the organization.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify areas of potential non-compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to address regulatory risks.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations.
2. Enterprise Risk Management:
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the organization's ERM framework.
- Facilitate risk assessment workshops and interviews with business units.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization.
- Develop and maintain risk registers and risk heat maps.
- Collaborate with business units in risk identification and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
3. Risk Reporting:
- Design and produce regular risk reports for senior management.
- Develop key risk indicators (KRIs) and monitor their performance for the Risk Strategy and Governance function.
- Analyse risk data and trends to provide meaningful insights and interpretation.
- Create ad-hoc reports to address specific risk concerns or inquiries.
4. Policy and Procedure Development:
- Draft, review, and update risk management policies and procedures.
- Ensure alignment of policies with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Collaborate with various departments to implement and communicate policy changes maintain an up-to-date Risk Inventory
5. Risk Governance Support:
- Provide support to risk committees, external meetings of the CRO and Head Risk Strategy & Governance
- Prepare meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and minutes including liaison.
- Follow up on action items and track progress on risk-related initiatives.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging risks, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.
