Please find below the job description:

Overall Job Purpose

- Manage resource pool size of up to 400

- Manage demands from global and local programs

- Forecast demand and supply

- Manage capability for various roles under Finance Change e.g. Business Analyst, Change Manager, Project Manager and Program Manager- Change

- Manage training and development needs and co-ordinate training programs

Key Accountabilities

Resourcing - 50%

- Resource forecasting for next 6 months

- Demand fulfilment, ensure resource availability

- Obtain clarity on the resource requirements by reaching out to program & project managers and other stakeholder holders

- Make resource allocation working with line managers

- Facilitating decisions with India Head if Finance Change and global change programme managers on hiring internally or externally

- Work with HR to raise external hire request and track them, taking full accountability for reducing Change Team hiring turnaround time and team vacancy rates.

- New employee’s on-boarding…………induction training on Finance Change and introduction sessions on global change pillars.

- Analysis of the previous data on requirements and future requirement, developing trends, developing recommendation on skills to be hired/develop, grades to be hired and how to reduce cost by improving pyramid

- Reports/Dashboard on weekly/monthly frequency to line managers and other stakeholders providing facts and trends to make decision

- Liaise with global change directors to understand the resource requirements of each project on the book of work. Build plans to ensure the local India resource has the capability to deliver for global projects.

Capability Management - 20%

- Track and report capability of each resource in change team

- Create and manage capability development plan to manage current and future demands

- Develop, with the support of the India Head of Finance Change and line managers, a rotation pool, to fill new demands or backfills – arrange trainings if necessary

- Analysis of the past and future requirements and developing recommendation on future capability requirements

Training & Development - 30%

- Identify development areas for each resource in consent with line managers to make team member ready for next role

- Identify training needs by taking inputs from line manager’s and future demands for areas like finance, project management and soft skills

- Publish monthly training calendar

- Develop induction document and conduct half a day session for new joiners

- Arrange training programs by working with L&D( learning & development) team…..internally or external trainer

- Track and report monthly reports to line managers

- Analysis of past & future resource skills, requirements, industry practices, organization’s change practices plan, feedback on learning’s requirements from stakeholder or line managers…….create recommendations for future training & development programs

Skills & Knowledge - Essential

- Knowledge on resource management and capability management practice in order to manage and develop global resource pool of change management profiles of 350+Knowledge in industry best practices for training and development for project/change management practices

- Ability to conduct training programs

- Basic knowledge and understanding of project and change management, like basic concepts, terms, skills, benefits etc.

- Effective communication skills (oral and written) with senior stakeholders, business subject matter experts, for presenting strategy, plan and agree them on decisions needed

- Ability to work in virtual team

- Pragmatic rather than idealistic outlook

- Track record of high-quality delivery

- Use of Microsoft office products – primarily Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,

Preferred

- Certified trainer

Education - Graduate degree

Experience - Essential

- Minimum 8 years work experience in resource management, training and development areas

- Earlier has worked in the role of resource manager of more than 1000 employees organization

- Earlier has handled resourcing for project management practice

- Experience conducting training programs, collating feedback and developing training courses

- Experience working with external vendors to conduct trainings.

- Experience within organization in similar support role (not applicable for external resource)

- Experience of working to tight deadlines in a fast moving environment

- Experience working with a team represents other functions in an organization and ability to deliver

Preferred

- Experience working in shared services or offshore organization

- Exposure to structured methodologies

- Experience on finance application and IT technology
