Role: Resource Management Manager (Internal Band - equivalent to AVP) works in the resource management function for the geography working jointly with the Resource Management lead to resolve issues and develop the resource plan. Additionally the Resource Management manager provides US HR Operations support.
The key job responsibilities include the following:
- Provides leadership and strategic plan for managing the resource requirements of the organization
- Map Global demand and supply Resource or Workforce Management
- Executes resource management strategy for the geography to meet workforce needs in line with business requirements.
- Reviews project pipeline, determines hiring requirements to fulfill future staffing needs. Ensures regular supply of resources for deployment in existing and upcoming projects
- Fosters and maintains positive relationships with sales leadership, service line management and project management, serving as an interface to assess pipeline, staffing needs and skill / qualification requirements and ensure effective forecasting and utilization
- Provide and execute of strategies that would include but not limited to Campus Deployments, Bench Management, Forecasting and Demand - Supply Gap Management etc.
- Lead a team of Information Service Analysts; Coach and mentor them to deliver excellent service; Continuously seek and improve processes and efficiencies
- Continuously Challenge the team and raise the bar on Service Excellence and Customer Sat
- Build a high performance team which breeds excellence amongst team members.
- Recognize team members for results delivered
- Build a learning environment that encourages team members to seek and acquire new skills and experience through classroom, e-Learning and experiential learning
- Ensure Team's compliance to usage of various RM Tools
The key skills required are as follows:
- 10+ years of experience, preferable in a professional services firm, including 5 or more years in a supervisory position in an IT organization, 5 years or more experience in resource management as a leader.
- Knowledge of and expertise in the execution of global resource management programs and strategies
- Knowledge of resource management systems, tools and methodologies
- Resource Management, Workforce Planning and Resource Utilization
- Forecasting, Demand & Supply management, Strategic Resource Management and Bench Engagement
- Information Services and Data Analytics
- Ability to understand and provide solutions for staffing conflicts
- Demand Forecast and Management, Re-skilling/ Re-tooling, recruiting etc.
- Spotting and Reporting out Trends, Challenges and Opportunities
- Work with & Support India and US based teams
- Managing India/ US-based clients
