AVP, Regulatory Compliance - International Bank
About our client:
Our Client is a leading International Bank in India.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support on regulatory compliance advisory as well as support on FCC (AML, Sanctions, etc.) matters to be provided
- Compliance testing, assurance, & reporting programs in accordance with the plan to be developed, implemented, and executed on all business units
- Compliance registers for India branch to be maintained & updated & guidance to the bank on all regulatory matters applicable to India to be provided
- Managing relationships with senior management executives & working closely with the Head of Compliance & Audit to provide assurance over the key risks
- The role would directly report to Head of Compliance
The successful candidate should have:
- At least 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance / assurance / testing / FCC / internal controls & audit
- Awareness of regulatory requirements including local and international laws, global and industry standards
- Excellent leadership skills & senior stakeholder management
- Expertise in planning, executing, and reporting on compliance testing reviews and regulatory validation activities
