We are Looking for Project Management Manager - AVP Level role for both Hyderabad & Chennai locations.

Roles & Responsibilities

A Project Management Manager 2 is responsible for leading and directly managing a team of Project Managers and Sr. Project Managers

Functions include: directing project staff; working with multiple groups to identify requirements, develop project plans and strategies, prepare business cases and assign tasks; influencing and negotiating with staff and management

May manage a family or series of projects associated with a specific business strategy to obtain benefits and controls

Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing performance of direct reports in area of specialty; and mentoring, coordinating, planning, and providing direction to direct reports in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable legal requirements

Responsible for conducting regular team meetings with team members. The discussion may include but not limited to : Project Progress and issues; Feedback on team member's performance; Progress on previous Action items and assignment of new action items; Provide help and guidance to the team members on any road blocks/issues

Responsible for conducting performance reviews with direct reports

Act as a single point of contact for any escalation/feedback on direct reports

Responsible for assigning resources to projects based on the utilization

Liaise with senior management and HR for releasing IJP- s, external hire, based on the resource requirement and in case of back fills

Ensures that all SLA's are met through data collection, root cause analysis and action planning

Ensures that team members are following the organization's project management methodology while managing their respective projects

Builds and maintains relationship with onshore teams that includes PMMs, Workforce PMO etc.

Ensures project control and manages project risks and interfaces with users to define needs and issues

Creates and/or oversees user training, as applicable

Handles budget/forecasting as needed; identifies, develops, and implements policies/ procedures/ controls within scope of project to optimize results while ensuring compliance with government regulations and bank policies

Skills & Experience Required :

- Candidate should have a total of 16+years of Experience in IT/ITES organization

- Minimum 6+ Years of core people management experience managing Project Managers

- Excellent leadership skills to help people perform at their best, through motivating and developing them to achieve high performance

- Strong ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork/collaboration, motivation and staff development skills including the ability to act as a role model within the organization

- Excellent ability to demonstrate innovation and good judgment/problem solving skills when making decisions

- Ability to establish a course of action for self and others to accomplish a specific goal while using appropriate resources

- Ability to coach, develop action plans, which maximize performance, and provide effective feedback

- Proven ability to analyze and improve work processes and policies. Work well under pressure, professional demeanor, and Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

- Ability to analyze and implement processes and problem resolutions

Shift timings for all is 1:30pm -10:30pm
